This Privacy Policy explains how Zyro (“Zyro”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Zyro mobile app and related services (the “Service”). It also describes the choices you have and the rights you can exercise over your data.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

Account details — such as your name, email address and password (or the identifier from a sign-in provider you choose).
Training data — programs, phases, routines, exercises, sets, reps, weights, RPE values, rest timers and workout history that you create or log.
Body metrics & photos — measurements such as weight, body fat, chest, arms and waist, and any progress photos you add.
Support communications — messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

Device & usage data — app version, device model, operating system, language, and basic interaction and diagnostic data used to keep the app working and to fix crashes.
Identifiers — a randomly generated installation or account identifier used to sync your data across sessions and devices.

2. Health data & Apple Health

With your explicit permission, Zyro can read from and write to Apple Health — for example writing workouts and syncing weight, body fat and waist. Health and fitness data is sensitive, and we treat it accordingly:

We use it only to provide features you have asked for.
We do not use health data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
You can revoke Health permissions at any time in your device settings; this stops further syncing.

3. How we use your information

To provide, maintain and improve the Service and its features.
To sync and back up your training data and progress across your devices.
To respond to your requests and provide customer support.
To monitor performance, prevent abuse and keep the Service secure.
To comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these limited cases:

Service providers — vendors who host our infrastructure, store data, process payments or provide analytics on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
App stores — Apple and Google handle purchases and subscriptions; their own privacy policies govern that processing.
Legal & safety — where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of you, us or others.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal, accounting or security requirements.

6. Security

We use technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can manage much of your data directly in the app, and you can contact us to exercise any of these rights.

8. Children's privacy

Zyro is not directed to children under the age required by your local law (generally 13, or higher where applicable). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
